This week 8th graders began their response to literature projects by forming literature circles (or book clubs).  The due date for the entire project is February 25th! Do not get behind...you must stay on top of this project in order to receive a high grade!

The Georgia Writing Assessment is here!!!  My expectations are very high for all of my students! I KNOW we can DEMOLISH this test!!!

7th Grade Language Arts

We have started working on Expository Writing.  Each student has a research plan packet that they MUST keep up with!  The assignement calls for each student to do some investigating.  They will write a multi-paragraph expository essay about a person they look up to.  I will post more information as we get our rubrics together!

7th Grade Social Studies

Misson Africa

Our DBI has come back from vacation with FULL force!  I am so excited that our 7th grade Social Studies Department has decided to make our students "special agents."  Ms. Golz and Ms. Kietzman put together an awesome amount of material for our missions on African georgraphy and culture!

We will have a test and Notebook due on January 18th, so make sure you study everything in your Notebook!
