Georgia Performance Standards ELA8C1 and ELA7C1 state:
The student will demonstrate understanding and control of the Rules of Standard English Language.
Since we have mastered these skills, our students are ready to teach it!!! 8th and 7th Grade students will develop lesson plans on the most missed convention questions from our OAS benchmark tests. The topics range from pronouns to sentence structure (with everything in between)!!! Students will take over the teaching responsibilities on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. So far...everyone is doing an EXCELLENT job!!! I believe we have some future teachers of the year among our student body :)
We have been so busy preparing for the CRCT! I truly believe that ALL of our students can exceed our high expectations for them!!
When we return, I will have an individualized preparation plan for each student! We will review our progress through the Georgia Online Assessment System to learn what we need to work on individually! I hope this process helps everyone prepare for the CRCT.
Have a GREAT Spring Break!
