CRCT Review

Over the weekend, I would like for students to review their notebooks from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.  I told them "while your watching TV this weekend, keep your notebooks with you. Mute the commercials and study during the commercial breaks. Re-read all your notebook, look at each page and think what is the big idea on this topic."

Students who complete the Africa and Asia CRCT Review sheet and turn it in by MONDAY, April 27th, can receive up to six points on their next test.  Just because the sheets are completed does not mean an automatic six points - I would like quality.

Below is a short review.  This does not cover every standard in Africa and Southwest Asia - but its a good start.  If you miss most of the questions, study more!  If you have them all correct, good job!  Look over the other notebook entries not in this game.

Homework Check

The students need to make sure that they complete NB4 for a check.  This assignment was given out Monday/Tuesday, but due to blog problems, I could not post it.

Thursday/Friday students will be given a homework assignment - NB9.  Students should read pages 701-705 in the textbook and complete the graphic organizer.  There are seven bubbles on the graphic organizer, each bubble should be one of the seven headings in the textbook reading.  Then the student should have at least three details from the section.  I will check this Monday/Tuesday.

**BONUS**

To receive additional points, complete the following.  Read the article on China after the revolution.  Create an annotated illustrated timeline with at ten events/dates.  You MUST include the great leap forward and the cultural revolution.  This is more than just a timeline; I want at least a three sentence description for each of the ten events. THIS IS DUE WEDNESDAY by 4:15, but you can turn it before that.
