This week we will begin a new unit on Expository Writing which encompasses conjunctions, reading a selection about dinosaurs, and writing a problem-solution paper.
Monday: Organize our notebooks---new ones may need to be purchased! Start a table of contents with conjunctions--practice worksheets.
Tuesday: No School!
Wednesday: Conjunction practice, reading "Dinosaur Ghosts", note-taking, vocabulary for expository writing
Thursday:Same as Wednesday
Friday: Notes from the reading to help begin our expository writing, continue with the use of conjunctions.
