Thursday/Friday---Open Note DGP Test on DGP #7,8,9.
Conjunctions---Correlative and Subordinating---worksheets are due Thursday and Friday
The Problem/Solution essay was due on the Friday before Thanksgiving Break--many students did not turn it in and therefore a zero appears on their Progress Reports. This was a major writing and needed to be handed in on time.
We are turning our attention to locating the Main Idea and Supporting Details in a reading and our writing. Next week we will begin a compare/contrast paper, with the students being able to choose their topic to research.
Look for the Progress Reports coming home on Friday---please sign the Parent signature sheet, keep the report , and have your child return the red folder on Monday.
