Beginning String Instruments and Accessories

All orchestra students (except cello & string bass players) must provide their own instruments. Whether the instrument is owned or rented is up to the parent. Enclosed is a packet with brochures from area music stores. Call and compare rental plans to see which is best for you. Please make sure that you get a good quality instrument. An instrument that is poor quality will be hard to play, hard to tune, and will have poor tone. Listed below are the essentials for beginning orchestra students. Take this form with you to ensure all accessories are purchased at one time.
