Monday- No School- Teacher Workday!
Tuesday- Checked warm-ups and took a grade. Students color coded a map of Canada. They will have a Canada Map Quiz on Friday January 20th. HW: Finish Map and start studying the map.
Wednesday/Thursday- Students started with an atlas activity to help them get familiar with their Canada Maps. Next they read in the orange books pages 292-299 and answered questions #2,5,6,7. HW: Study Canada Map. Hirsch's 1st pd class- advertisement is due next Friday January 20th.
Friday- Students study buddy their Canada Map. Next they read Rustle the Leaf, answered cloze reading questions and completed a crossword puzzle about the environmental problems in Canada. Students completed an exit ticket as they left room. HW: Study Canada Map.
