**Students will be working on an in class Latin America group project this week. Countries were assigned on Friday 1-27. Students will research an assigned country and then as a group create a poster (teachers will provide the poster paper) on their country. The poster needs to include- title/colorful for 10 pts, a map 10 pts, graph 10 pts, 2 pictures 20 pts, geography 10 pts, history 10 pts, culture 10 pts, government 10 pts and economy for 10pts = 100 points**
Monday- Students went to the computer lab to work on Latin America Projects. HW: Print some pictures for your poster.
Tuesday- Students went to the computer lab to work on Latin America Projects. HW: Print some pictures for your poster.
Wednesday/Thursday- Students got back their Canada Tests. Then they worked with their groups on their posters. HW: Get Test Help signed.
Friday- Students had a notebook check today. Then they were given some time to put finishing touches on their posters. Lastly we did a museum walk so all students could see and learn about some Latin American countries. This acted as an introduction to our Latin American Unit.
