Week of 8-29

Monday- Reviewed Map- Quiz Tuesday over continents and oceans.  Worked on Find That Country WS.

Tuesday- Took Map Quiz- get signed.  Also worked on Latitude/Longitude Worksheets.

Wednesday/Thursday- Geo Pictures and Picture This WS and Bingo Boards- if you didn't finish in class then finish for HW.  Terms Test from Geo Pictures and Picture This will be Wed/Thurs next week.  Munch N Learn both mornings at 8:30am.

Friday- Played Bingo to review terms.  Terms Test is Wed for periods 1,3 and 5 -and- Thursday for periods 2 and 4.  Munch n Learn Wed and Thursday morning at 8:30am. 

 

Week of 8-22

Monday- Started setting up notebooks today.  HW: Go on USA Test Prep.  Remember to bring NB decorations tomorrow.

Tuesday- Continued setting up notebooks.  HW: Get syllabus signed.

Wednesday/Thursday- Personalized NB covers.  HW: Go on USA Test Prep.

Friday- Color Coded World Map.  HW: Study Map- Quiz Tuesday.

Week of 8-15

This week we will be focusing on getting to know each other, learning classroom and school routines/expectations and figuring out how to get around the school.

Supplies needed for SS- 200 page spiral, pencils, glue sticks, colored pencils (I recommend students get a zippered pencil pouch and keep pens, pencils, glue sticks, highlighters and colored pencils in and carry to all classes)

Wed/Thurs-  Homework is to finish creative compass rose if you didn't finish in class.

Friday -Homework is to bring in a 200 page spiral with pockets and notebook decorations on Tuesday.  Tuesday we will set up our Social Studies Notebooks.
