Complete the review at the end of chapter 13 section 1 page 381. Make sure to read pages 374-381 first. Write the quesitons (2-10) and a correct answer.

This starts a new chapter about oceans.

Bonus: How did the Southern ocean get its name? Research the question. Bring in your answer for 5 extra credit points.

Water Use Chart

Water Use Chart is to be completed by each student. They will see the approximate amount of water they use at home in a weeks time. They need to make tally marks each time they do one of the activities on the chart. At the end of the week, they will add their tallies and multiply the number by the average number of gallons used for the activity.

1st and 5th pd due on Friday Jan. 28th

2nd, 3rd, and 4th due Monday, Jan 31st.

Today we review information that we learned before the break.  (water cycle)  We will continue to learn from Chapter 11 about rivers and fresh water.
