This week brought some schedule changes but everyone seems to have settled into their new classes without incident. In addition to our regular reading curriculum, we honored our military with "Veteran's Day" reading and written activities.
Some of your children have been assigned to an additional reading class. A letter was sent home explaining the importance of providing more time during the week to strengthen their basic reading skills. We look forward to seeing gains in their content classes as their skills improve. We would also ask your cooperation in encouraging reading at home. As I like to say.... reading is "FUNdamental"!
