This week we are focusing on what happened when the Europeans came to Georgia.

Monday- we worked on a European Claims map & began studying Hernando de Soto, the first European into what is now Georgia.

Tuesday- I was out so we reviewed prehistory and European Exploration in the computer lab on USATest Prep.

Wed/Thur- finished Hernando de Soto and worked on Spanish missions off Georgia's coast

Friday- Notebooks are due and we will work on a study guide for Monday's test. ALSO, CURRENT EVENTS ARE DUE ON FRIDAY.

Week of September 12

All Geography tests are now graded and in Pinnacle. Some of the grades were great, some not so much. If you are unhappy with your grade you will have an opportunity to take a different test and average the scores. We will have a working lunch this Wednesday 9/14. You will get your lunch and come to my room and eat while you take the test. If you are interested, please see me for a pass.

Today we took the Geography of Georgia test. I hope to have these graded and in Pinnacle by Thursday. If you were absent, be ready to take the test the next class period I see you.

 

Also, homework due on Friday was assigned. Pick up a copy from me in class.
