Wow- we've made it through the first week of school. Here is a recap of what we've done:
Monday: We looked at the 15 largest cities in Georgia by completing a crossword puzzle.
Tuesday: We worked on finding out about some of Georgia's 159 counties.
Wed/Thur: Began setting up the notebook (3 tabs: Current Notebook, Warmups/CRCT, and Current Events)
Friday: We will be taking the Benchmark Pretest.
AC Ga. Studies: We began looking at our first current event article and analysis of a political cartoon.
Next week we begin the study of Georgia's location and regions. (SS8G1)
