Welcome back. It was a little strange being out of school for that long but we are back and hitting the ground running. We have a lot of work to do so please make sure you are here everyday, prepared with your notebook, pen/pencil, and textbook. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK TUESDAY'S AGENDA FOR HOMEWORK THAT IS DUE THURSDAY FOR PERIODS 5 & 7 AND FRIDAY FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

Welcome Back and Happy New Year!!

This is the beginning of the 3rd Nine weeks and students received new schedules- half way through the school year already. Report cards will go home on Friday 1/7.

In SS:

Tuesday- Dr. Deane spoke to all classes about College Career Paths

Wednesday- We will all take the Geography Bee quiz to qualify, complete Formative Assessment Wrap-ups on the American Revolution and State and Local Government. We will then begin the new standard by creating a T Chart. Download Westward Expansion STANDARDS SHEET

Thursday- Analyze a painting on Manifest Destiny, begin PowerPoint notes (will attach later) and watch a video clip and simulate land lotteries. Finally, we will compare and contrast the Headright System and Land Lotteries (Formative Assessment)

Friday- Continue PowerPoint notes
