Monday and Tuesday you completed a Critical Thinking Activity on Slavery and then wrote either a journal entry or a poem about the experience.

Wednesday 11/14- all classes watched the History Channel video "The Middle Passage" and examined primary documents concerning the slave trade to the colonies.

Georgia From a Trustee Colony to a Royal Colony

Thursday 11/1 and Friday 11/2

Today in class we watched a short video called "Expectations versus Reality" giving information about the life in the new Georgia colony during the first year.

We then read a play and completed a chart comparing the Trustee Colony versus a Royal Colony.

NO SCHOOL FOR YOU ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY. BY WEDNESDAY, HAVE THE STUDY GUIDE COMPLETE AND READ PG. 145 AND PAGES 148-TO THE END OF CHAPTER 4 AND WRITE CORNELL NOTES AND A SUMMARY.
