Who Came to the New World and Why?

Today was an early release day so we had a "super skinny" schedule. However, we still managed to get a lot of work completed:

1. Warmup: Imagine you are moving to a new world and can only take 5 personal items. What would you take and why?

2. We watched a video clip and discussed the different and diverse groups of people who came to the new world.

3. We completed a concept map outlining the current unit's standards.

4. Created a new T.O.C.

5. Completed math practice with a graph

First Notebook check for the new unit will be this Thursday/Friday.

Extra Credit BONUS: What group is Governor Sonny Perdue threatening to sue over water distribution from Lake Lanier? Write the answer on a sheet of paper and turn in to me by Friday.
