Human Body ~ Update and a cool song

Thank you Mateo for finding and sharing this very cool  Cardiovascular Song Mateo on the circulatory system. 

AC Science -  your power points are due by this Friday, Jan 21.  Your System Summary worksheet is also due on Friday. Your research notes were due today Jan 19th.  Since you have Math and Social studies tests this week, you may need to take the 10 point penalty by turning in your power point one day late on Monday. 

AC Science Computer Lab ~ January 4, 2011

Today you will begin to research a system of the human body.  You will use the CVL, the kids health site and the thinkquest site to investigate your system.  You are required to take notes on this research  sheet; those notes must include the web addresses and other resources used. If you want to take notes electronically, you will need to click out of the scrolls and then go to the top and insert a text box to type.

Your research will be presented on this Museum project power point. If you have trouble downloading  the power point try this one Download Museum project older program which is saved under an older program. You will notice that it is a museum format, and that the slides are linked so that when you click on a picture from the first slide it takes you to a different slide. Refer to this checklist Download Checklist Arringtonto know what is required.

Human Body ~ Computer Lab ~ January 4, 2011 6th and 7th period Science

Your task today is to complete the System Summary Page that we stared.  Before doing anything on-line, make sure your labels are correct and write the correct page numbers down on your worksheet using the key provided.  You have about 5 minutes to do that.  Then go to the text book site at http/my.hrw.com and go to the pages listed to find the answers to each system section.  Remember after selecting the "pages" from the orange tabs at the top left you have to click on "GO".  This is a classwork grade.

Warning:  If you are off task you will be given a text book to do this assignment.

If you took the Pulse and Respiration lab home to finish, make sure you turn it in today.
