Help with your Science Fair Project!

Your text book will be a good resource if you are struggling with an idea for your experiment.  Remember, while the actual Science Fair is optional, all Arrington Science students must come up with an experimental design.  All AC Science students must do their experiment 3 times and take notes on what you discovered.  In your text book look at page xix which lists an experiment for each chapter and read pages 10 - 16 for a refresher on using the scientific method. You can also go to the online text book at http://my.hrw.com and listen to the e-activities on Chapter 1 which explain the scientific method.  Other helpful websites are on this blog.  Look at the entry list on the left.  Good luck! Science Fair Experiments

Third period will be researching Science Fair ideas this week while in the computer lab.  Visit the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair website.  You may want to enter the pin design contest.  On the right of this web page download the instructions #7.  I will print this and have copies available in class. Other helpful links: Getting started, Ideas and Science Fair Ideas.  All AC students will be required to design and carry out a Science Fair caliber experiment.  If you plan to submit your experiment to the Daniell Science Fair then you will need to carefully follow the instructions on the Georgia Science Fair site (the first link). If you do not plan to submit it then you are required to use the Scienctific method to write up your experiment and describe your results.
